①教师说:Look at Zhao Wei.She is active.(课件显示赵薇照片和句子She is active.
T:But look at Liu Yifei.让个别学生回答,引出quiet.
课件分别出示何炅、刘翔和刘翔全家福,引出tall,short,thin,strong.
②课件出示以下问题,学生回答:
Who is active in our class? Who is quiet in our class?
Who is tall in our class? Who is short in our class?
Who is thin in our class? Who is strong in our class?

教师请一学生当警察,一名学生当肇事者,一名学生当一个过路人,在表演时,警察回避,肇事者开着小车撞倒一过路人,当时肇事者马上逃离现场(课件显示小车),教师马上拨打了110报警电话(课件显示110)T:Hello,policeman,here is a traffic accident on the West Street. The policeman is coming. (课件显示)
扮演警察的同学走进教室,(课件显示Please tell me,what does he look like?)
个别学生充分说肇事者特征。
ⅱ.生活运用
①教师说班里一学生特征I have a good friend.She has long curly hair.She is active.She is thin.She likes music.She has two big eyes.What’s her name?学生猜出教师描述的是谁。
②学生In pairs操练并反馈。
(设计意图:“神探柯南”游戏,激发了学生运用本课词汇和句型的欲望,通过描述身边熟悉的朋友,猜一猜是谁,在生活中用英语,说英语。)
ⅲ、理解课文。
①教师展示挂图,指着John问:Who is he? 指着Chen Jie问Who is she?
②听录音,回答问题
Who is Chen Jie’s friend?
Who is John’s friend?
③听录音,读课文
④学生根据自己的能力,自主选择A、给对话配音B、表演对话C、创编对话。
(设计意图:通过让学生自己选择表演对话的方式,给不同层次的学生展示的机会,充分照顾到学生的个体差异。)
