Study on Adsorption of Cd2+ in Solution with HNO3 Modified flax wastes
Abstract: In this paper, the widespread flax wastes were used as materials and the flax adsorbent modified with HNO
3 were preparated. Meanwhile, the removed of Cd
2+ by the flax adsorbent modified with HNO
3 and flax raw were compared. As a result, the optimum pHe value was 5.37and 5.52; S/L was 4.3 g/L; the best touched time is 180min; q
m was 1.12mol/kg and 0.79mol/kg with the flax adsorbent modified with HNO
3and flax raw, respectively. As for the adsorption of Cd
2+, the HNO
3 modified flax adsorbent has better result than the flax raw material under the same conditions.
